On A Personal Note
A rainbow in our backyard
In the month of April, our dear recycling service forgot to empty our blue bin for two consecutive weeks. Milk jugs, juice bottles and newspapers began overflowing and not wanting to create an area of hide and seek for bugs, I temporarily sought to be "green" in another way. I stopped recycling and started recognizing. With my daughter now at 20 months, everything outdoors is one big adventure. Clouds are amazing. Trees are soaring. Water is moving. Through her eyes, our backyard is one big movie always in production. Not having to spend time collecting bottles and papers and the like, (I save the tiniest of travel bottles and papers for the bin), helped me focus on the green we do have. I noticed more trees, relished blue skies and helped Saloni practice her numbers by counting every tree during our weekly errands. Everyone is talking about what to do the save the environment, but how many of you are enjoying what we already have? Nature is in abundance if we only stop and recognize it. So go outside and enjoy the theatre right outside your door.
We would love to see you at our retail location in San Marco (inside the Fine Flowers Florist & Shop). To visit our Home Studio, morning, evening, weekend or daytime appointments are welcome. Coffee, tea and something sweet are always on the house.
