Autumn is my favorite season of the year. The air has that distinctive crispness to it and the turnover of putting away spring/summer clothes and accessories and bringing out those great fall colors is a joy in itself. Being able to open windows after months of air conditioning allows us to let in a little more creativity into the studio. And creativity has been in abundance these last few months as you will see from our updated web site and products.

Customer Care Policy
You asked! We answer:
We have a fabulous team of seamstresses and we rely on them for a quality check that we realize can often slip through the production process. We want to assure you that we back all of our handbags for three months from the date of purchase with our Customer Care Policy. If there are defects such as seams coming apart or embellishments coming off, we will happily repair or replace your handbag. Please note that evening bags of silks and brocades are not meant for daily use to the supermarket.
We Scotchguard all of our handbags but that may not protect your precious tote from a downpour after a dinner party. To care for your bag, spot clean it immediately if it comes in contact with any liquids or stains. Do not throw them into the washer or dryer unless instructed by us - although a handbag may be cotton on the outside, the silk lining may not make it through the wash cycle.
Say Thank You with Style
Have you checked out our one-of-a-kind Thank You cards from the Sentimental Stitches collection? Each card is stitched with different colors of cardstock and is blank inside. For a professional touch, we can personalize the back label with your name or company's name so that you leave a lasting impression on your friend or client.
On A Personal Note
My recent goal has been to master the art of one-tasking. This may sound odd in an age of super-multi-tasking in which the media claims we CAN talk on the phone, be on the internet and watch TV all at once. (All while pushing 5-minute yoga and 2-minute recipes at us so that we can beat the clock at any time of day.) I have to admit it was really hard at first. I had to train myself to do only one activity at a time. My previous habit of watching TV while reading the paper or reading e-mail while talking on the phone had to end. But the benefits have been worth the effort. No more constant to-do lists in my head and I've freed myself from the need of having to do something every minute of the day. Closets were cleaner, papers were filed, phone calls were returned, new recipes were tried and best of all? I now have energy for my daughter, husband and me vs. collapsing at 6pm right at the dinner table! I urge you to try this because we all need time to pause, breathe and appreciate the lives we lead.
We would love to have you at our home studio. Morning, evening, weekend or daytime appointments are welcome. Coffee, tea and something sweet are always on the house.
